Klaviyo

Punchmark has a custom integration with Klaviyo that tracks user behavior throughout your website and captures new customers into Klaviyo who interact with website forms. The behavior tracking can be used to create targeted audiences for Klaviyo campaigns.

Some of the behaviors tracked are:

  • Custom Forms, Contact Form, Start a Project, Inquiry and Wishlist submissions

  • Completed Orders, Fulfilled Orders, Cancelled Orders, and Refunded Orders

  • Active on Site, View Item, Add to Cart, and Start Checkout

Our connections with Klaviyo consist of independent modules that are priced separately. As of the time of this writing, you can purchase all modules for $1,000.00 and receive the complete setup, which is recommended.

How to Integrate Klaviyo with your Punchmark website.

Getting set up

There are two API Keys needed in order to get set up. You can find these in your Klaviyo account.

  • Private API Key:

    • Private keys can be created with the following steps.

    • Visit https://www.klaviyo.com/settings/account/api-keys and select Create Private API Key.

    • Select Full Access Key from the dropdown, then select Create. The new private key will have a format similar to pk_xxxxxx.

    • Note that you will not be able to access the private key after creating it, so it’s important to copy it as soon as it has been created and store it somewhere safe.

  • Public API Key:

Paste these keys into an email, and send them to your account manager who will be able to complete the Klaviyo setup process.

Integrate your product feed (optional)

You can choose to connect your product feed to Klaviyo, allowing for more robust customer targeting. Here’s how:

  1. On your SiteManager dashboard, in the left-hand menu, open the Settings section, then select Integrations.

  2. On the Integrations page, search for the Google Shopping Feed section. Find the URL in that section. This URL is what we’ll use to connect to Klaviyo, so copy it somewhere handy.

  3. Decide which products you want to include in your integration. See the https://help.punchmark.com/knowledgebase/how-to-use-product-feed-parameters page for options. For each filter that you choose, add the snippet from the Example section to the end of the URL from the last step.

Note: By default, the URL will provide up to 6,000 products. If you wish to bypass this restriction, use the Max Items filter and set it to a very large number (ex. &maxItems=999999)

  1. Create a custom catalog feed in Klaviyo using the finished URL from the step above.

  2. Create a product feed using the catalog feed from the step above. You can now use this product feed in your custom email flows in Klaviyo, or however you choose to use it.
