The Ask AI Tool

Punchmark’s Blogs and Jewelry Pages Now Write Themselves

In our continuous pursuit of providing an exceptional user experience, we are thrilled to announce the integration of ChatGPT into our Blog Editor and PageBuilder tools. This cutting-edge addition brings advanced capabilities to our platform, revolutionizing the way our users will create content and engage with their audience.

The integration of ChatGPT into our Blog Editor and PageBuilder tools simplifies content creation by enabling users to generate ideas, receive suggestions, and enhance their writing process in real-time. With the power of artificial intelligence at their fingertips, we hope to take the legwork out of writing your 4th blog post of the week, or creating your 10th widget title, and instead focus on refinement and editing. And the best part is that this new upgrade is completely FREE for any Punchmark client.

This tool will take shape as a small button labeled “Ask AI” in their tooltip. When selected, a popup will appear asking for a prompt or query.

For Headlines, users can even set parameters for the number characters used, the tone, or even if you want it to use a pun.

For Paragraph text, the AI will automatically tailor the prompt based on the title that is in use.

Please note, Artificial Intelligence is always improving, and as of writing this, is not perfect. Most likely, the resulting copy from these queries will require some edits, both major and minor. This agency and control is the “human touch” that will tailor the AI to your specific needs.

Google has published specific guidelines and warnings on the use of AI generated content on websites, and the impact it can have on your website’s SEO:

Google’s Perspective

  1. AI content is NOT against Google Search guidelines

  2. Using AI to generate content for manipulating search rankings is a violation of spam policies

  3. Content should continue to be high quality and provide value in order for Google to rank it and the page it is on

Google directly says:

Should I use AI to generate content?
If you see AI as an essential way to help you produce content that is helpful and original, it might be useful to consider. If you see AI as an inexpensive, easy way to game search engine rankings, then no.

With Google’s blessing, we believe that AI generated content can be a powerful tool in the local jewelry store’s toolbox for helping to create better product descriptions, blog posts, and landing pages.

Punchmark’s Perspective

  1. AI is a great tool to begin the process of creating content, whether jewelry product descriptions, blog posts, landing page copy, etc

  2. AI generated content should be reviewed and copyedited, never copy and pasted

  3. Focus on Quality over Quantity, and remember that proper key phrase research is more important than ever.

The goal using AI generated content is NOT to produce a finished product without you having to touch it. Instead, the goal is to put the writer on 3rd base, and position “copy editing” as the only step left before a finished page is made.

^^ This widget's headline and paragraph copy was written using our ChatGPT integration… as was the intro to this Knowledge Base article. Could you tell?
